New Spider-Man Tom Holland Wants To Meet With Former Spider-Men
Hollywood’s
new Spider-Man Tom Holland would like sit down with two former web-slingers.
Access
Hollywood spoke to the 19-year-old at the “In the Heart of the Sea”
premiere on Monday, where he said he’d like to pick the brains of Spider-Man predecessors Tobey
Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
“It’s
something I think should happen. I’d love to sort of sit down with them and ask
them about what to expect in life, rather than making the actual making of the
movie,” the actor, who is slated to appear in multiple future Marvel movies as Peter Parker, including the upcoming
“Captain America: Civil War,” explained.
“As
of yet, I haven’t sort of touched based with them, I’m sure I will in the
future,” he continued.
And
if Tom continues to improve with his gymnastic skills, the upcoming Spider-Man
reboot might be a little less CGI-heavy.

“I’ve
been training a lot recently. I just landed my first full twist, which was a
big day for me, because I’ve been trying to do that for like six years,”
he told Access.
As
for whether the British actor has slipped into the iconic Spidey suit, Tom
played coy.
“I
can’t comment on that unfortunately,” he said with a smile when Access
asked if he’d tried on the iconic costume yet.
“In
the Heart of the Sea” opens on Friday and fans will see Tom as Spider-Man
in 2016.
