Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt.
Jolie cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the couple’s split in paperwork she filed on Monday, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
The actress has asked for physical custody of their children, according to the court filing obtained by Access Hollywood. She is requesting they share legal custody, and for Pitt to have visitation.

In Jolie’s filing, she’s requested both she and Pitt cover their own attorneys’ fees.
Brad and Angelina officially married on August 14, 2014. The date of separation is listed as September
15, 2016.

The actors are parents to Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.
Reps for the actors didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment from Access Hollywood on Tuesday morning.
