Lance Armstrong Welcomes Fifth Child: Daughter Olivia Marie Armstrong
It’s a girl for Lance Armstrong!
The seven-time Tour de France cycling champ and girlfriend Anna Hansen have welcomed their new bundle of joy, Lance announced on his Twitter page early Monday morning.
“Olivia Marie Armstrong has arrived!” he wrote.
Later in the day on Monday, the athlete also posted a Twitpic of his new arrival.
“Good morning! Thanks to you all for the support and well wishes. Momma and Olivia (@Cincoarmstrong!) are doing great. She’s a beauty!” he Tweeted on Monday.
Olivia is the couple’s second child – and the fifth for Lance, who has three children from his previous marriage.
Prior to leaving the womb, Olivia pulled off a rather impressive feat – a series of pre-natal Tweets.
“I’m ‘bout ready to get outta here!” said a message posted on Sunday to the Twitter account Lance set up for his at-the-time-unborn daughter under the Twitter name Cincoarmstrong.
The Cincoarmstrong page was launched back in April, with a message saying, “I got 2 arms, 2 legs, a nickname, and I’m 2 inches long. See y’all in October.”
Olivia is the latest in a celebrity baby boom over the past few days. On Friday, Alicia Keys welcomed her first child, son Egypt (with husband Swizz Beats), into the world on Friday. Also, Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka announced on Friday that they welcomed twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace into the world earlier that week.
