Alfonso Ribeiro Bringing The Carlton To ‘Dancing With The Stars’

When it comes to Alfonso Ribeiro’s routine on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” he knew exactly what to give his fans – and shouted, “Yo, holmes, to Bel-Air!”

The 43-year-old actor and partner Witney Carson will be performing his now iconic Carlton dance, which fans of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” are sure to eat up.

“Rehearsal this week has been really fun… we have made it official that we are doing the Carlton dance this week!” Alfonso told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson.

“We are doing it to Tom Jones’ ‘It’s Not Unusual,’ so we are bringing it in its full glory… it’s been fun to relive that for a little bit,” he continued.

This week the viewers will have the power to score contestants, and the actor is confident he’ll be rewarded for his skills when it comes to this dance.

“I don’t know how anybody can give me anything other than 10 on the Carlton dance,” he told Shaun. “Nobody’s gonna do it better. You gotta give me a 10 on that!”

Monday’s “DWTS” is the show’s “The Most Memorable Year of Your Life” episode.

“The most significant time in my life would be the years on ‘Fresh Prince,’ so I felt like this was my gift to America,” he explained. “Doing it this week, I’m giving America the dance that they’ve been asking me for.”
