Chris Tucker Back In Action For ‘Rush Hour 3’
It’s been six years since we’ve seen Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan buddy up on the big screen in “Rush Hour 2.”
In fact, it’s been that long since we’ve seen Chris Tucker at all after he went on a self-imposed six-year vacation. Must be nice.
But now, his holiday is finally over as “Rush Hour 3” arrives!
“More comedy. More danger. More everything n this movie,” Tucker told Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos.
And given all the action in the new film, it’s no wonder he needed the rest.
“If you look at your resume right now, from 1998 until right now it reads ‘Rush Hour,’ ‘Rush Hour 2’ and ‘Rush Hour 3,’” Maria told him.
“I actually wrote that down. I had a long time that I didn’t do a lot of movies but it was good because I was growing as a person,” Chris replied.
But when Maria joined Chris and Jackie on the set, it was almost as if no time had passed between them.
And while Jackie is the martial arts expert, he was the one left battered and bruised during filming, most of which took place in Paris.
In fact, Jackie suffered a fairly serious chest injury during one scene.
“I hear you didn’t even want to go to the doctor,” Maria noted.
“They sent me to the MRI. I don’t care. Then I go back to work,” Jackie smiled.
But despite the injuries, Jackie ran, worked out in between takes and even showed Maria that he’s ready to fight.
“Oh you are in good shape,” she laughed.
Catch Jackie and Chris back in action when “Rush Hour 3” hits theaters August 10.
