Did Adele Preview New Music?

Prepare yourself Adele fans — we just might have new music for you!

During Sunday’s U.K. “X Factor,” a mysterious commercial aired that sounds a lot like the beloved multi-Grammy-winning singer.

The clip had no name, date or official confirmation indicating that it was indeed Adele, or that the song heard will be featured on her upcoming album, but that did not stop fans from hoping and speculating.

The lyrics heard in the mysterious commercial include: “Hello / It’s me / I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet / To go over everything / They say that time’s supposed to heal ya / But I ain’t done much healing.”

Based on the vocals and subject matter (can anyone sing about unresolved feelings better than Adele?), all signs point to the “Someone Like You” singer.
