Ellen Page: ‘Inception’ Will Be ‘Visually Unbelievable’

Ellen Page is better known for her work in teenage dramedies “Juno” and “Whip It” than for being an action star, but the actress told MTV News that’s about to change with this summer’s “Inception.”

“I’m definitely involved with the action, which was so enjoyable,” she said. “There were times, especially at the beginning, where I felt incredibly out of place and slightly confused as to how I got cast. It was the most action I’ve ever been involved in.”

Unlike the run-up to director Christopher Nolan’s last outing, the box office smash “The Dark Knight,” details have been scarce so far on the mysterious thriller – but Ellen said the wait will be worth it.

“Chris is doing things we’ve never seen before,” she said. “Visually, this film is going to be unbelievable.”

However, she added that the film’s script is what takes it above typical firework-filled summer movie fare.

“The script totally blew me away,” she said. “I think it’s going to be a very special movie.”

“Inception” is due in theaters on July 16.

In related news, on Friday, the director’s “Dark Knight” sequel was announced for July 20, 2012, by Warner Bros.
