Hilary Duff Marries NHL Dream Guy In ‘Breathtaking’ Wedding In Santa Barbara

Former “Lizzie McGuire” Disney channel star is a married woman. She wed NHL hockey player Mike Comrie on Saturday in Santa Barbara, OK! was first to report.

According to OK!, the 22-year-old singer / actress wore a mermaid gown by Vera Wang and she and her husband said their “I do’s” “in front of a breathtaking sunset and 100 of their closest family and friends.”

People reported that the ceremony took place at the Mediterranean Villa La Quinta around 8 PM.

“Mike held his arm around Hilary for most of the romantic, candlelit ceremony, and they both looked extremely happy,” an eyewitness told People, who also reported that the newlyweds spent their wedding night at the nearby historic San Ysidro Ranch.

According to OK!, Hilary was reportedly escorted down the aisle by her mother, Susan Duff, dressed in Badgley Mischka.

The couple first met in 2007 at a resort in Idaho. Comrie proposed in Hawaii this past February.

“Hilary Duff & Mike Comrie were engaged this weekend while vacationing in Hawaii,” the rep said in a statement to back then. “After having been together for over two years, they are very excited to share this happy news. They are thankful for all of your warm wishes.”
