‘Saturday Night Live’ Adds New Featured Player Pete Davidson

“Saturday Night Live” adds another player to its lineup!

“Welcome to the cast, @petedavidson!” the show’s Twitter account posted on Monday.

Pete, who has appeared on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” joins the cast of season 40 that includes fellow newcomer and new “Weekend Update” co-host Michael Che, Kate McKinnon, Bobby Moynihan, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, Vanessa Bayer, Taran Killam, Jay Pharoah, Beck Bennett, Colin Jost, Kyle Mooney, Mike O’Brien, Sasheer Zamata and Kenan Thompson.

Last season’s newcomers Noel Wells, Brooks Wheelan and John Milhiser will not return for the new season.

“Saturday Night Live” Season 40, with host Chris Pratt and musical guest Ariana Grande, premieres on September 27.
