Seth Meyers & Anne Hathaway’s Romantic Comedy Moment
Seth Meyers just wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Anne Hathaway.
The star of “The Intern” visited “Late Night” on Thursday for an interview with Seth, and the end of their interview took on an unexpected turn – you might even say, it was reminiscent of one of those cheesy romantic comedy final “guy goes to get the girl” scenes.
Cue the angsty longing, the self-pity and regret, the much-needed encouragement from friends, some well-placed rain and even some flowers… and Seth gets his final moment with Anne!
“I’m just a talk show host, looking at a talk show guest, asking her…” Seth monologued.
“Yes???” a hopeful Anne beamed, fighting back the faux tears.
