Britney Hits Parenting Class; Cop Hits Paparazzi With A Timeout

Britney Spears is taking the necessary steps to get her kids back.

Britney attended her first Parenting Without Conflict (PWC) session with ex-husband Kevin Federline on Wednesday, according to People magazine.

According to the LA Superior Court Web site, the six-session program is “an education program that assists parents who are in high conflict to understand the effects of parental conflict on their children.”

Although it is not mandatory for both parents to take the course at the same time, the program does recommend it.

The goal of the program, which is being held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, is to teach parents the “benefits of cooperative parenting, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and communication skills.”

The PWC course is one of the requirements LA Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon ordered Britney to complete.

As Britney left the hotel at the conclusion of Wednesday’s session, she was greeted by her usual horde of paparazzi. As Brit pulled away in her white convertible Mercedes, photographers swarmed her car as it stopped at a traffic light.

Surrounded, the paparazzi badgered Britney with questions about how the parenting class went. Britney however, sat quietly in her car, with the top up.

However, one police officer apparently wasn’t too thrilled by the scene. He ordered a group of photographers and cameramen who were surrounding the car in the middle of the street to sit on a curb and provide identification while Britney drove away.

In the footage captured by X-17 Online, the officer lined up several paparazzi on the curb and asked each of them for their IDs.

Access Hollywood has learned the photographers were issued citations by the Beverly Hills Police Department. On the ticket, it listed “stood in front of car with a camera” as the reason. The ticket is not correctable and the fine is $80.
