DVD Teaches ‘The Facts Of Life’

NEW YORK (May 10 ,2006) — When you take the good, you take the bad, you take them both — what do you have?

“The Facts of Life” on DVD!

The beloved show everyone, including Access Hollywood, loved was a place where massive careers were born.

“According to Access Hollywood we saved this network,” laughed Mindy Cohn, who played Natalie on the show.

Well, Mindy may be exaggerating slightly, but “The Facts of Life” was a wildly popular show on NBC for nine years, showcasing the talents of such stars as Molly Ringwald, as well as a future Oscar winner with a great head of hair.

Who was it?

“It’s not ringing a bell, sorry,” Nancy “Jo” McKeon laughed. “Oh, mullet, right. Mullet man.”

“I love that,” Mindy told us. “Academy Award winner and mullet boy.”

Yes, George Clooney joined the girls of Eastland for the eighth season in 1986.

But now, seasons one and two are available on DVD so everyone can take a walk down memory lane and remember Blair’s Gloria Vanderbilt jeans, Tootie’s roller skates and everyone’s big 1980s-style hair.

“Why didn’t anyone just smack us and just say ‘Stop!’ Put that hair back. Just put it down,” Nancy laughed.
