‘Newsroom’ Star Alison Pill Weds: See The Dress!
This just in – “Newsroom” star Alison Pill is a married woman!
After a four-month engagement, Alison and fiancé Joshua Leonard tied the knot on Sunday, and the couple documented the big day on Instagram.
“We’re married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” the actress captioned a photo with her groom on Sunday, adding the hashtag #pillnard.
Alison, 29, and Joshua, 39, announced their engagement in January via Instagram.
For her big day, Alison opted for a vintage yellow wedding dress.
In the days leading up to the wedding, Joshua posted a photo on his own Instagram page of Alison waiting to get the couple’s marriage license.
Following the ceremony on Sunday, Joshua also snapped an adorable shot of his new bride.
“We got married, she ate toast,” the caption with the pic of the mid-chew Alison wrote, showing the actress still in her dress and sporting a beautiful ring. Joshua’s ring is also visible in the photo.
Alison played unlucky-in-love producer Maggie Jordan in HBO’s “Newsroom,” while Joshua (a “Blair Witch Project” alum) has starred in HBO’s “Togetherness” and A&E’s “Bates Motel.”
