‘Glee’ Cast Gets Dark With Theft, Arrests, Same-Sex Kisses & Tattoos!
The cast of “Glee” might play fairly wholesome characters – minus that one teen pregnancy – on their hit FOX series, but it turns out the show’s actors aren’t as squeaky clean as most viwers might think.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the cast dishes on some of their dark moments before rocketing to stardom.
Canadian native Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) might have the most checkered past of the “Glee” kids.
“I still think any minute I’m going to get fired and be shipped back to Canada in handcuffs for stealing that car stereo,” Cory, who was arrested as a teen, revealed. “I dropped out of school when I was 14 to go f*** around with my friends and live a lifestyle of crime and pay no mind to authority figures.”
The actor, who show creator Ryan Murphy nicknamed Fraken-teen due to his age and beefiness, said he was never malicious with his crimes.
“I wasn’t killing people. I didn’t hurt people,” he continued.
The 27-year-old also shot down rumors that he’s ever been involved with any of his co-stars.
“No. Can’t mix business with pleasure,” he says when asked if he’s ever made out with his of his fellow “Glee” stars.
Cory has been linked to co-star Lea Michele (who plays Rachel Berry) in gossip blogs – someone who Rolling Stone discovered is a fan of body art.
The 23-year-old actress, who got her start on Broadway, revealed that she has nine tattoos – among them two musical notes from Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and two butterflies.
The actress might enjoy getting inked, but she claims to lead a simple life, telling the mag, “I live a quiet life. I go to work, I work out. People might think I’m boring, but I don’t really care, because I’m not boring.”
Series star Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray) also told the mag that she’s not wrapped up in the young Hollywood party scene – well, not usually.
“Have I ever made out with a girl? In my life?” the 23-year-old said when asked about ever kissing someone of the same sex. “Oh, my goodness. I don’t know. Maybe.”
Perhaps the actor who is living a life most parallel to the role he plays is Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), who said he was taunted just like his character – but it appears the 19-year-old actor might have the last laugh.
“It’s interesting how people forget their actions. But I don’t forget,” Chris said of his tormentors in high school. “I took down names and Social Security numbers. You know that forget-and-forgive bulls***? No, no, no, no, not for me. You take that grudge and let that grudge fester, and then you use it.
“You think, ‘One day, they’ll pay.’ They’ll write on my Facebook page, ‘Oh, remember what great times we had?’ And I’ll be like, ‘No, we didn’t have great times,’” he continued. “‘What are you talking about? Have we met? Remember the three-letter name you’d call me every time we met in the hallway?’ I don’t forget.”
New episodes of “Glee” return to FOX on April 13.
