Obamas & Washington Elite Help Jennifer Lopez Celebrate Marc Anthony’s Birthday

The Lopez-Anthony’s go to Washington!

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony painted Washington D.C. red Wednesday night while in town to attend the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s awards gala, where the President, First Lady and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor were all in attendance.

The couple wasn’t just flexing their political power while in the nation’s capital, they also took some time out to celebrate Marc’s 41st birthday at the W hotel’s P.O.V. lounge on Wednesday.

According to GossipCop.com, the birthday boy was treated with a special birthday serenade and it wasn’t just the “Jenny From The Block” singer belting out, “Happy Birthday.”

President Obama and a group of senators and congressmen sang to Marc backstage at the gala before his party at the W.

During the gala, The President was reportedly in good spirits, joking with Jennifer that Caucus chairwoman, Nydia Velazquez, had a little crush on her singer husband.

“I’m telling you, J.Lo, watch out,” the President reportedly said.

Earlier on Wednesday, the music superstar couple and their 19-month-old twins, Emme and Max, were reportedly treated to a private White House tour.

Max amused himself by running around the White House, GossipCop.com reported.

“Max was tearing up the White House,” Anthony told the Washington Post.

In addition to the two aforementioned events, Jennifer and Marc met with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at the U.S Capitol.
