Bradley Cooper Dedicates Movie Awards Win To Chris Kyle

We’re not teary – there’s just something in both of our eyes.

Bradley Cooper won Best Male Performance for his “American Sniper” role at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, and he dedicated his trophy to the real life man behind the film’s story, Chris Kyle.

“I wanna thank MTV and the fans – it’s because of you, you brought awareness to the men and women and their families in the military, and what they do for us on a daily basis,” he said, as he accepted the award. “It’s because of what you guys did and how you came out for the movie.”

The actor then lifted his popcorn trophy in the air in remembrance of Chris, who was murdered in 2013.

“Chris Kyle would’ve turned 41 four days ago. Chris, this is for you,” Bradley said.
