David Arquette Says He ‘Shared Too Much’ On Howard Stern, Apologizes & ‘Humbled’

Following Tuesday’s very candid interview on Howard Stern, David Arquette is apologizing.

“Thank you all for your Love and support at this time. I’m trying figuring out how to be the best person I can be,” David Tweeted on Wednesday. “But it’s been a process of trial and error. I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I’m experiencing but while doing that I shared too much…it’s alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information. I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled.. Life is a process of spiritual evolution.”

Just a day after he and Courteney Cox announced they were separating, David called into “The Howard Stern Show” on Sirius Satellite Radio and made a slew of claims regarding their relationship and sex life.

However, according to a People source, the “Cougar Town” star was not shocked by her estranged husband’s interview.

“She knows who David is and what he’s like. She married him. All that he said, and how he said it, that’s David,” a source close to the couple told People. “Does she wish she could edit what comes out of his mouth? Sure, but nothing surprises her at this point. What’s amazing about Courteney is that she doesn’t get caught up in all the ridiculousness.”

David ended his series of Tweets on Wednesday with a message of hope, writing, “I’m sure Courteney and myself will emerge from this painful time better people for what we’ve learned.”
