Britney To Get Visitation Back, K-Fed’s Lawyer Says
Britney Spears appears to be on the verge of at least one successful comeback⦠with her kids.
After a troubling day of bad cell phone reception, a judge revoked Britney’s visitations rights, when the court was unable to reach her for a scheduled court-related call. A source close to Britney tells People that she “waited” but “it never rang.”
Just one day after court documents confirmed Britney had lost the right to visit her kids, Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, revealed to People that the singer is one step closer to visits with Sean Preston and Jayden James.
“She has complied with the part of the order [causing the suspension],” Kaplan told People. “I expect that visitation will be reinstated.”
As Kaplan left dinner at Katsuya in Brentwood, he confirmed to People that the process in question for deciding the final custody of their kids — the 730 evaluations — has begun. A third party will assess the quality of parenting in both camps and make a recommendation.
For the time being, Britney and Kevin must attend co-parenting therapy sessions together. Kaplan told People, “They are just about to do that.”
Despite Britney’s legal rollercoaster, which has included being forced to work with a parenting coach and submit to random drug tests, a source tells People that the pop star mom is “fine.”
