Who’s To Blame For Britney’s Driving Dramas: The Pop Star Or The Paparazzi?

Britney’s driving drama continues to worsen as the roving paparazzi pack that never leaves her side continues to grow larger and more erratic.

Blender’s Michael Gross witnessed Brit’s erratic driving first hand when he spent a few days with Britney’s pack, researching his magazine cover story.

“When Britney peels out of one of the hotels where she stays and takes off down the streets of Beverly Hills, she’s banging an illegal U-turn in the middle of Wilshire Blvd., onto oncoming, screeching traffic, with 15 cars following her,” Gross explained. “She is creating this situation as much as she is a victim of it.”

Before infiltrating the paparazzi inner circle, Gross had to pass their “cool” test.

“They tell you, ‘What if we smoke pot and then drive 80 mph down Sunset?’ and you say, ‘I am cool with that,’ and if your really convincingly cool with that then they let you ride along,” Gross said.

According to Gross, Adnan Ghalib is the leader of Brit’s paparazzi pack. In a Stockholm Syndrome-like scenario, Britney has become close with the man who has made a living trailing her.

Adnan and Spears’ companion, Sam Lutfi, are currently engaged in a war for Brit’s attention.

“When I first arrived, Adnan was always the guy who was always wearing funny hats and walking around real cocky,” Gross said. “The first day I saw him he had stitches on one of his cheeks because he had gotten in a fight. He is a amateur boxer.”

On a Web site promoting male sexual enhancement products, Adnan lists his occupation as “Filmmaker.” But after extensive research to find out what films Adnan has been credited with, Access found that he, in fact, has no credits to his name.
