“My brother ran me over,” she confessed with a chuckle, referring to “Growing Pains” alum Kirk Cameron.
Candace also shared up-close peeks at her gruesome-looking hand injury, and said she damaged her shoulder “pretty badly” too. Despite multiple bruises and cuts, she told fans that having her wedding rings removed from her swollen fingers was actually the worst part of the whole ordeal.
“[That] was one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced,” she said.
Luckily, the mom of three shared a positive update after getting her X-rays back. Candace suffered no broken bones in the collision, which left her admittedly “shocked.”
Kirk and their sister Melissa were by Candace’s side in the hospital, where the trio appeared to keep a positive attitude about an undoubtedly scary situation. While Melissa said she was “the slowpoke” in the group, Kirk stepped up and acknowledged that he may have gotten a little too competitive on the racetrack.
