Charlie Sheen Talks New Movie ‘A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charlie Swan III’

Charlie Sheen hopes his first big screen role since leaving “Two and a Half Men” will have a “big impact” with audiences.

Access Hollywood caught up with Charlie at the taping of his Comedy Central Roast on Saturday in Los Angeles, where he dished on his new movie, “A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charlie Swan III,” where he’ll play a successful ladies man in the midst of a downward spiral.

“We do that in about a month, so it’s going to get real busy,” the actor told Access.

Charlie was impressed with the script, which director Roman Coppola penned.

“It’s a brilliant script and I think Roman’s a genius,” Charlie continued.

“It’s a little character piece, you know, that I think could have a big impact,” he said of the film, which also stars Jason Schwartzman.

The actor also gave Access an update on his next small screen project, “Anger Management,” saying,” It’s going really good, really good, just waiting for a script.”

The “Roast of Charlie Sheen” will air on September 19 at 10 PM on Comedy Central.
