George Clooney Steps Out In Ancient Roman Getup (Pics!)

Hail, Clooney? George Clooney got his ancient Roman side on, on Thursday in Los Angeles.

The actor was spotted in Downtown LA sporting Roman gear – a thigh skimming tunic, leather arm cuffs and sandals — as he shot the Coen Brothers’ newest film, “Hail, Caesar.”

Due out in 2016, the film follows a 1950s Hollywood fixer, who “works to keep the studio’s stars in line,” per IMDB.

The film boasts an all-star cast including Clooney, Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill and Tilda Swinton.

George previously worked with the Coen Brothers on 2000’s “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”
