‘Angry Birds’ Movie: Jason Sudeikis, Peter Dinklage Lead Star-Studded Cast

The “Angry Birds” cast is slinging around some serious star power!

Jason Sudeikis, Peter Dinklage, Maya Rudolph, Josh Gad and Bill Hader are among the names announced to lend their voices to the upcoming animated movie’s cast, based on the uber popular mobile video game, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Also throwing their “Angry” voices at the project – Danny McBride, Tony Hale, “SNL” star Kate McKinnon and more!

“I’m extremely proud of this cast. Not only do we have Jason, Josh, Danny, Bill, Maya and Peter bringing these characters to life, but they’re surrounded by an all-star ensemble of emerging comedic talent — these are some of the funniest people out there today, and we’re thrilled to have them all on board,” producer John Cohen said in a statement, per THR.

The cast was revealed after “Angry Birds” users launched more than 1 billion slingshots within the game.

The animated 3D film is slated to hit theaters on July 1, 2016.
