David Beckham Defends Daughter Using Pacifier At 4 Years Old

David Beckham would like the pacifier shaming to stop.

The superstar athlete spoke about the media calling out him out for letting his 4-year-old daughter Harper still use a “dummy,” which is the British term for pacifier.

“Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any facts ??” the father of four wrote, posting a screengrab of the article showing little Harper using a pacifier.

“Everybody who has children knows that when they aren’t feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it’s a pacifier so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people’s children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent,” Beckham continued.

The Daily Mail, which wrote the article about Harper’s pacifier use at age 4, questioned if using it her age could lead to possible speech or dental issues.
