Hasselhoff’s Attorney Claims Bach Did Not Receive Custody Of Children
David Hasselhoff’s attorney, Mel Goldsman, contacted Access Hollywood on Tuesday morning to refute reports that Pamela Bach received custody of the children following a ruling in family court.
An earlier Internet report suggested the results of the hearing granted Hasselhoff temporary custody of his two children for the next two weeks. A source close to Bach, however, told Access Hollywood that is not the case. [That report is] an absolute fabrication, this source said.
Yesterday Access also reported that a source close to the case (unrelated to the aforementioned source) told us David would have custody of his two children yesterday, today and Thursday. His ex-wife Pamela Bach would have the girls on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
In response, Goldsman tells Access, “This is a totally false statement. Someone is trying to distort the true facts here.” Goldsman added that Hasselhoff was given custody and Bach was granted limited visitation rights.
According to Pamela Bach’s manager, Stephany Hurkos, “If Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday is limited, then it is limited, but it is four days and he (David Hasselhoff) has three.” Hurkos says that Bach voluntarily goes to Cedars-Sinai once a week to be tested for alcohol and drugs. Hurkos says Bach has been doing this for eleven months and is paying for this herself. Hurkos also claims Bach’s hair is tested twice per month.
On May 7th a Los Angeles judge suspended Hasselhoffs visitation rights with his two daughters Taylor-Ann and Hayley Amber after a video showing the actor drunk was leaked to the media. Hasselhoff and Bach met in court for a hearing on the issue yesterday. The actor, dressed smartly in a navy blue pin stripe suit turned up accompanied to court by his attorney Melvin Goldsman. The attorney refused to comment on the judges ruling, but said David was very happy the truth came out today.
“It went very well, the truth was told and I can’t say any more,” the City News Service reported Hasselhoff saying.
Bach, in a grey suit, attended the hearing with her lawyer Debra Opri. When the two left the courtroom, they were caught up in a crush as dozens of media scrambled to cover the story.
Opri refused to comment on the case.
