Report: Los Angeles Memorial For Russell Armstrong Set For Wednesday
A memorial service for Russell Armstrong, the late estranged husband of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” castmember Taylor Armstrong, is set to take place in Los Angeles this week, according to a new report.
The service is scheduled to be held at the Church of the Hills at Forest Lawn – Hollywood Hills on Wednesday, according to Radar Online.
Russell’s body has been cremated and his remains are reportedly being split between his family in Texas and his estranged wife, Taylor, according to the website.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Russell was found dead on Monday night after committing suicide at the age of 47.
Russell, an investment banker, had been featured alongside Taylor on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and their relationship woes were documented on the show.
Taylor filed for divorce from Russell last month. The couple tied the knot in 2005 and has one daughter, Kennedy, 5.
Bravo plans to re-edit the show in the wake of Russell’s death.
“We have not made a decision to change our original premiere date but we are in the process of re-editing the show,” said network president Frances Berwick.
The second season of the reality show is set to premiere Sept. 5.
