Stephanie Moseley & Earl Hayes: Celebs React To Reported Murder-Suicide

Stephanie Moseley – star of VH1’s “Hit the Floor” was found dead in a reported murder-suicide, along with rapper Earl Hayes, on Monday in Los Angeles.

Following the gruesome news, many celebrities who knew and worked with Moseley – a 30-year-old professional dancer – over the years reacted to the news on social media.

“RIP Stephanie Moseley. I’ll always remember dancing with you on #hellcats. Such a beautiful kind spirit. I’m praying for your family,” Ashley Tisdale wrote on Twitter.

“Damn rip @haselstar my prayers go out to u and your family,” rapper Tyga posted on Instagram.

“My heart is so damn heavy. This has been one hell of a week. RIP Stephanie – Such a beautiful soul!!!” Karrueche Tran wrote on Twitter.

“Today we bow our heads and send prayers to our special Stephanie and her beautiful family. Stephanie was a bright, inspiring, talented woman and I am honored I could call her my friend. We shared cries, laughter and more importantly a friendship that I will never forgot. Moseley you taught me so much, and I will hold our memories close to my heart. Heaven is lucky to have you. I love you ….RIP my dearest Stephanie,” “So You Think You Can Dance” alum and “Dancing with the Stars” pro Allison Holker wrote on Instagram with a photo of Moseley.

Several stars also offered condolences to the family of Hayes, who was once signed to boxer Floyd Mayweather’s record label.

“RIP Hayes, @floydmayweather you are my little brother. All can think about is what you said to me up stairs. Don’t you ever do nothing to your self no matter what champ. We can fall out and fight or what ever,but I don’t want to see you go out like that. #SMSAUDIO #POWER #FRIGO,” 50 Cent posted on Instagram, along with a photo of Mayweather.

“The guy on the left, His name is @earlhayes ! We came up together in Oakland Cali!!! At one point in time we were all actually in a group as young kids. Him @queenamina7300 and I. We all used to work with a guy names Eric who has also passed away, not to long ago. Well…it has been brought to my attention that our childhood friend is gone. He has passed on. Be kind to people. You never kno the fight they may be fighting. #RiP @earlhayes gonna miss your crazy self!!! #LoveForLife!!!!” Keyshia Cole wrote with a photo of Hayes on Instagram.

“RIP to one of my best friends in the world!! @earlhayes I’m sick & hurt about this news – I’m sending my deepest condolences to your family  #ripearlhayes Wow this can’t be real!” Swizz Beats wrote on Instagram.

VH1 also released a statement after the incident.

“We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley. VH1 and the entire ‘Hit The Floor’ family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time,” the network’s statement read.
