Diedre Hall’s Thanksgiving Carrot Soup recipe, which she shared on Tuesday on Access Hollywood Live.
Ingredients:
4 or 5 big carrots, cut in chunks
1 cup or more chicken or vegetable broth
1 garlic clove
1 onion
Salt
Butter (or butter-like substance)
Zucchini squash, if desired
1/2 cup yogurt, if desired
Preparation:
Nuke the vegetables in the broth (or cook them in a pot on the stove) until they’re tender. Blend in the blender with remaining ingredients and season to taste. Reserve a little yogurt for garnish.
Deidre Hall’s Tip: Store carrots separately from other fruits and vegetables so they don’t get butter.
