Jennifer Lawrence: A Donald Trump Presidential Win Would Be ‘End Of The World’

Let the “Games” begin! Jennifer Lawrence has strong words regarding Donald Trump’s presidential run.

“If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world,” the 25-year-old said in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly

Jennifer’s opinion is reminiscent of her “Hunger Games” heroine Katniss Everdeen, whose mission is to overthrow Donald Sutherland’s tyrannical President Snow in the wildly popular book and movie franchise.

The Oscar winner went on to explain why she believes Trump’s popularity reflects the current state of American culture.

“I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment,” she said, wondering if the former “Apprentice” host could simply be playing a role within another political strategy.

“It’s either that or it’s Hillary’s brilliant idea,” she added.

JLaw isn’t alone in her bewilderment. Her “Hunger Games” co-stars also weighed in on Trump, and suggested the real estate mogul won’t be getting their votes, either.

“I’ll back you up on that,” Liam Hemsworth quipped, in response to Jen’s assertion that Trump’s potential election could have irreversible consequences.

Josh Hutcherson, however, is too skeptical to be nearly as worried. He told the mag he finds the situation simply unbelievable.

“It’s a publicity stunt,” the actor said. “It can’t be real.”

Jennifer agreed, saying she’s also questioned the validity of Trump’s campaign. In addition, his seemingly genuine followers are making her question society’s goals.

“I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, ‘I love Donald Trump because he’s saying everything I’m thinking and I just can’t say it because of the PC factor,'” she began. “And I’m thinking, ‘You are absolutely right. That’s who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect.'”
