Dustin Diamond Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Man Outside Bar

“Saved By The Bell” alum Dustin Diamond was arrested late Christmas night for allegedly stabbing another bar patron in Port Washington, Wisc.

“At approximately 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 25, 2014, the Port Washington Police Department responded to the Grand Ave. Saloon for reports of a stabbing,” according to Port Washington Police. “Evidence quickly gathered at the scene indicates a male, age 37, had stabbed another male patron and left the bar in a white SUV with his 27 year old girlfriend. Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and suspects and took both into custody.”

Diamond — who played Screech on “Saved By The Bell” — was taken to the Ozaukee County Jail. Meanwhile, his girlfriend was charged with disorderly conduct and has since been released from police custody.

Diamond appeared in front of Ozaukee County Courts on Friday afternoon and was formally charged with a Class A misdemeanor count of Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, a Class A misdemeanor count of Carrying a Concealed Weapon and a class B misdemeanor offense of Disorderly Conduct, Use of a Dangerous Weapon.

The Port Washington Police Department also said the victim was treated for non-life threatening wounds and is currently recovering at home.
