Access Top 10: Hollywood’s Good Eggs

As Easter rolls around, Access Hollywood has combed through the lists of celebrity do-gooders to find 10 stars and star couples worthy of being called Good Eggs.

Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore: Most recently, the Twitter-lovin’ celebrity couple has used their popularity online — and off — to gain support for their Demi and Ashton Foundation, which seeks to end child slavery in Haiti and beyond.

Ben Affleck: The actor-turned-director, whose next film behind the camera is the Blake Lively drama “The Town,” launched an initiative in March to raise funds and awareness for women and children in Africa’s eastern Congo.

Kenna: The musician organized the “Summit on the Summit” Mt. Kilimanjaro climb with celeb pals Jessica Biel, Lupe Fiasco, Emile Hirsch and others in a bid to help the cause of clean water.

Beyonce: The “Single Ladies” singer opened the Beyonce Cosmetology Center in Brooklyn in March to aid substance abusers at the Phoenix House treatment center.

Michael J. Fox: Sweden’s Karolinska Institute, which also gives the Nobel Prize in medicine, announced in March that the star would receive an honorary degree for his Michael J. Fox Foundation’s efforts to combat Parkinson’s.

Shakira: The “She Wolf” singer and UNICEF goodwill ambassador earned a medal from the U.N. labor agency for her work with the Barefoot Foundation, which assists 6,000 children in Columbia, and other organizations.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie: The superstar couple has helped rebuild New Orleans through the Make It Right Foundation and effected international change through Angelina’s role as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador.

Daniel Radcliffe: Earlier this year, the “Harry Potter” star filmed a public service announcement for The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention organization aimed at members of the LBGT community.

Rihanna and Kelly Rowland: A dual honor for the R&B singers, who each befriended Jasmina Anema, a young girl who ultimately died of leukemia, helping to raise awareness for DKMS Americas and encourage individuals to become bone marrow donors.

George Clooney: After the Haiti earthquake earlier this year, the “Up in the Air” actor put together the “Hope For Haiti Now” telethon – a broadcast that raised millions in aid.
