Betty White To Guest Star On ‘Bones’

Betty White has lined up a new TV gig – on Fox’s “Bones.”

The “Hot In Cleveland” alum will guest star as Dr. Beth Mayer in an episode of the series, now entering its eleventh season.

Dr. Mayer is a forensic anthropologist who is “accomplished” and “sharp as a tack,” according to the network. She is brought in as the newest squintern to help on a murder connected to fantasy football, something she has an expertise in.

Expect Betty’s character to be a little competition for Emily Deschanel’s Dr. Brennan, due to her 50 years of experience.

Betty’s episode will air in October. The exact date is to be announced at a later time.

“Bones” Season 11 premieres Oct. 1 at 8/7c on Fox.
