It’s officially over for Usher and Grace Miguel.
The singer has reportedly filed for divorce more than nine months after he and his estranged wife announced their separation. Court documents obtained by multiple outlets state that Usher filed in Atlanta on Friday.
The former couple previously confirmed their breakup in a joint statement to Access back in March.

“After much thought and consideration, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives,” the statement read. “The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
Usher and Miguel tied the knot in 2015 after six years together. The now-exes were also business partners, with Miguel serving as the Grammy winner’s manager.
The pair did not have children together, but Miguel has a son and daughter from a previous relationship. Usher also shares two children of his own with first wife Tameka Foster. Their divorce was finalized in 2009. According to The Blast, the 40-year-old has retained the same attorney for his legal proceedings with Miguel.
