Ben Affleck Pays Tribute To Bestie Matt Damon With Hilarious Throwback Post

Ben Affleck
and Matt Damon know how to keep the bromance alive!

The
“Batman v Superman” star honored his longtime bestie on Wednesday to
commemorate a special occasion, and share a hilarious memory.

“This
guy. #NationalBestFriendsDay,” Ben wrote on Instagram, captioning a
throwback collage in which the Oscar winners are pictured goofing off during a
birthday celebration for Matt.

Things
appear to start off normally in the first photo, with Matt smiling as he gets
ready to blow out his candles – until he’s pictured wearing an even bigger grin
while smashing Ben’s face into the cake!

The pair has
clearly maintained their sense of humor over the years, accepting Spike’s Guys
of the Decade Award over the weekend with a self-deprecating speech.

“I
think it goes without saying that this is an award Matt and I have been
dreaming about since we were little boys,” Ben joked from the podium.
“I did ‘Gigli’ and Matt did that Liberace movie, and all of a sudden, it
seemed out of reach.”

Matt
pointed out that he and Ben aren’t Hollywood’s only high-profile pals, but
deadpanned that their friendship might be the most commendable.

“We will cherish this [award], and we want to recognize
some of the other nominees,” the “Jason Bourne” star added.
“Some of the dudes who weren’t quite as decade-worthy – George Clooney and
Brad Pitt.”

The 2016 Guys Choice Awards air Thursday, June 9 at 8 PM
ET/PT on Spike.
