Celebrity New Year’s Plans

LOS ANGELES (December 29, 2006) — As we say goodbye to 2006, the stars are ready to ring in the New Year, and we know exactly how Hollywood will welcome in 2007.

For the Smith family, the New Year is an extra special occasion.

“We’re gonna be in the snow,” Jada Pinkett Smith told Access Hollywood. “And New Year’s is our anniversary, so that’s always a special time.”

Meanwhile, it doesn’t look like any hangovers are in the near future for Bruce, Leo and Ben.

“I’m a quiet New Year’s Eve guy,” Bruce Willis told us.

“I’ll be in town and stay home,” Leonardo DiCaprio added.

And clearly, fatherhood has calmed Ben’s party habits.

“I haven’t been awake for New Year’s the last two years, so I’m going to keep the string alive,” Affleck said.

But some of Hollywood’s most eligible will be partying the night away.

“We’re bringing in New Year’s the right way,” Jamie Foxx said. “The Jamie Foxx Unpredictable Tour off the chain.”

For Drew Barrymore, the west coast is the place to be to ring in 2007.

“I’m in Los Angeles and I’m having a cocktail party,” Drew told us.

Meanwhile, Sharon Stone will be enjoying some fine dining on New Year’s Eve.

“We have everybody come over and we stay at home just have hamburgers and hang out,” Sharon said.

But as for resolutions, some stars aren’t so resolute.

“I’ve decided to stop making resolutions because we all lie to ourselves and say that we’re going to do something,” Jaime Pressly said.

And for some stars, 2007 can’t come soon enough.

“I’m just thankful this year is over,” Denise Richards joked with Access.
