‘Bottom Of The 9th’: Joe Manganiello & Sofia Vergara Heat Up The Big Screen In First-Ever Movie Together

Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara are not only spouses, but also co-stars!

The lovebirds are heating up the big screen in their first-ever movie together dubbed, “Bottom of the 9th.” The inspirational story about redemption and determination comes from a producer of the hit flicks “Creed” and “Rocky Balboa.” 

Joe stars as baseball phenom Bobby Stano, who at just 19 made a tragic mistake that landed him in jail just before his sports career took off. The movie follows along as Bobby  leaves prison two decades later and works to earn back the respect of his family and lost love (Sofia), and reignite his dream of being a professional baseball player.

It’s no surprise that Joe and Sofia would bring their real-life chemistry to the big screen! It’s been nearly four years since the pair tied the knot in 2015 and they’re still one of the hottest couples in Hollywood.

The “Magic Mike” star recently dished to Men’s Health how he and his leading lady keep the spark alive on and off the screen.

“My life is great because I really like my wife,” he told the magazine. “I like talking to her. I like goofing around with her. We f**king laugh all day long every day. My favorite thing in the world is making my wife laugh so much she cries. It’s the best.”

“Bottom of the 9th” hits theaters July 19.
