Former ‘Idol’ Contestant Gina Glocksen Says ‘I Do’

Gina Glocksen, who was a top ten finalist on “American Idol” Season Six, married longtime boyfriend Joe Ruzicka on Wednesday, according to People.

Gina, 24, married Joe, 32, who is a school teacher, in a nondenominational ceremony at the Century Memorial Chapel at Naper Settlement in Naperville, Illinois, on New Years Eve.

“Joe is my strength, my best friend,” a beaming Glocksen told the mag.

Joe proposed to Gina on August 7, 2007, when she was performing with ten other “Idol” contestants in front of a live audience at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Gina’s bridesmaids included her fellow Season Six competitors Haley Scarnato and Jordin Sparks.

Gina is working on an album she hopes will be released in 2009.
