Kanye West Hurt By ‘Very Wrong’ Leaked ‘Paranoid’ Video

Kanye West unhappily took to his blog on Thursday to discuss a leaked version of his latest video, “Paranoid.”

“IT HURTS ME TO SEE THE OLD AND VERY WRONG VERSION OF THE PARANOID VIDEO GET LEAKED ALL OVER THE NET WHILE I WAS ON AN 11 HR FLIGHT AND COULDN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT,” Kanye wrote in his trademark all-caps. “IT’S JUST FRUSTRATING WHEN THIS STUFF HAPPENS.”

The star added “THE VERSION THAT LEAKED FROM THE CAMERA PHONE LAST WEEK IS AT LEAST A LITTLE CLOSER TO THE FINAL PRODUCT” but still not up to his standards.

Rihanna appeared in lingerie in the leaked version of the video, but in stills Kanye posted from the official version, she appears to be in a more dramatic role, driving a car with an intense expression.

The black-and-white photos showcase a noir-like style and close-ups of animal eyes, including a wolf.

However, the new video isn’t the only thing on the rapper’s plate. Kanye has a new book, “Thank You And You’re Welcome,” which he co-wrote with J. Sakiya Sandifer and discussed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair.

“This book doesn’t so much attack any other people’s rules, systems or beliefs, but asks people to have their own, and expresses and opinion of what mine are,” the outspoken musician told the mag.

Of the difference between writing a book of advice and writing lyrics, he said there was one major change.

“You don’t have to rhyme,” he said.

Kanye added that the book was the product of “countless hours” of philosophizing.

“Me and Sakiya, we’ll get together and think,” he said. “A lot of people don’t like to think.”

But one thing the budding author himself doesn’t like to do? Read.

“I am a proud non-reader of books,” Kanye said in a separate interview with Reuters. “I like to get information from doing stuff like actually talking to people and living real life.”
