First Look: What’s Katie Holmes Looking At In ‘Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark’?
Access has your first look at Katie Holmes in her new film, “Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark.”
And if Katie’s ominous expression here is any indication of what’s to come, fans can expect to be kept on the edge of their seats come January 21, 2011, when the film is released.
The thriller tells the story of a young girl (Bailee Madison) who moves into an old mansion that her father (Guy Pearce) and his girlfriend (Katie Holmes) are restoring, when she unwittingly unleashes malicious demons that threaten to destroy her family.
This re-imagining of ABC’s 1973 telefilm of the same name is written and produced by “Pan’s Labyrinth’s” Guillermo del Toro and “The Chronicles of Narnia’s” Mark Johnson and directed by newcomer Troy Nixey.
“Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark” will be previewed at Comic-Con this week in San Diego. Fans can also catch Katie in her new film, “The Extra Man,” out in theaters on July 30.
