Kim Kardashian On How Kris Jenner Is Coping With Bruce’s Transition

Kim Kardashian has been Bruce Jenner’s most vocal supporter during his transition process, while Kris Jenner has been unusually quiet.

But now, Kim is offering up some insight into how mom Kris is handling her ex-husband’s pivotal time.

“How are you helping your mom cope with everything that’s happening right now?” Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez asked Kim at her “Selfish” book signing event in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

“You’ll see a lot of my mom’s emotions in our special. She hasn’t been outspoken about it because this is really Bruce’s journey and she doesn’t want to jump in and just start giving her opinion,” Kim told Liz. “And that’s kind of what Bruce wanted.”

But that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been a difficult time for the Kardashian matriarch.

“It must be difficult to be married to someone for 25 years and have such a big change and I think you’ll see that, and you’ll see their emotions together and them cry together and go through it together,” Kim added of her mom, and what will be shown in the upcoming “Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce” special.

The entire family’s reaction will be captured in the two-part E! special (airing May 17 – 18), and as for Bruce, he’ll be documenting his transition in his own docu-series as well. But will the Kardashians also be featured in that series?

“I’m not sure yet,” Kim said. “I would happily be in it if he wanted me to, but I’m not sure what they’re going to do.”

Per usual, it’s not just one member of the Jenner/Kardashian clan in the news – Kim’s little sister, Kylie, is also making headlines this week with her lip filler confession.

What does Kim think of her sister’s revelation?

“I think that people think, ‘Oh my God! She’s lied for so long and now she finally came clean!’ but that’s not really the case,” Kim told Liz. “It took her awhile to actually make that decision to do it… and it’s been an insecurity of hers for years. At 10 and 11, she would always say, ‘Kim, how come my lips aren’t as big as yours?’

“So if it’s going to make her feel better about herself, I’m all for it,” Kim added. “I think she looks beautiful.”
