Lindsay Lohan Theft Victim At London’s Heathrow Airport

LONDON, U.K. (September 7, 2006) — Lindsay Lohan?s Hermes handbag containing a reported $1,000,000 in jewelry was stolen tonight at London?s Heathrow Airport. It happened at approximately 6:45 PM local time. Lohan was reportedly on her way to meet the mother of her boyfriend, Harry Morton. As she was exiting the terminal, she noticed that her orange Hermes bag was not on the cart with her other bags. A source close to the 20-year-old actress told us that the jewels are definitely worth “over $1 million.” That same source tells Access Hollywood she’s willing to offer a reward of $100,000. Lindsay has hired private investigators to go through the surveillance tapes with British authorities. Airport police are also involved in the investigation.

We’ve been told that this is being taken so seriously that Lohan’s attorney, Mike Heller, is boarding a flight tonight to London. The 20 year old actress had just come in from Italy, where she was attending the Venice Film Festival with Harry. Lohan was at the Festival this week to promote the new film “Bobby,” about the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy in 1968.
