Lolo Jones On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Elimination: ‘It Was Hard’
Olympic athlete Lolo Jones was the first contestant to be sent home on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 19, a distinction that was difficult for the 32-year-old.
“I was really nervous, I was super nervous. I knew that the dance could have obviously been a lot better,” Lolo told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson following her elimination on Tuesday.
“It was hard, I wish I would have been able to rebound better,” she continued.

Lolo’s professional partner, Keo Motsepe, was also cut from the competition.
“The whole night I was like, ‘Man, I can’t believe I messed it up for Keo’… I feel bad, normally, if you’re in a race, it’s all on your own, if you lose, you can just internalize, this was just different,” she said of seeing her partner’s “DWTS” run come to an end.
As for Keo – the first black dancing pro to appear on the ABC reality competition – he appears to be taking it in stride.

“Whatever happens, happens for a reason,” Keo told Shaun.
