Taylor Momsen Fronts Material Girl Collection, Lourdes Leon Planning ‘Vintage’ Pieces

Taylor Momsen has been unveiled as the face of Madonna and Lourdes Leon’s new fashion collection for Macy’s – Material Girl.

The “Gossip Girl” star, who is on hiatus from The CW show, while she tours with her band, The Pretty Reckless, can be seen posing in pieces from the collection in a new ad, which surfaced online on Thursday.

In related Material Girl news, Lourdes recently posted a new blog, updating fans on her continued obsession with all things ‘80s.

“So this week I’m listening to the Dirty Dancing soundtrack….don’t laugh – but I’m obsessed with it, ugh so good. Be My Baby is suuuuch a redonculous song,” Lourdes wrote, noting she was also enjoying a bit of British outfit Florence and the Machine, fronted by Florence Welch.

As for her fashion leanings, Lourdes, who goes by Lola on her blog, noted she was planning a trip to London (where step dad Guy Ritchie lives), to pick up some new pieces.

“Im going to East London in the next days, to this area called Bricklane, to get some more vintage – cuz you can never have to much vintagy-thrifty looking stuff,” she wrote.

Lourdes added that she plans to bring some vintage stuff to her own collection.

“there’s gonna be a whole area of like one of a kind vintage things! HOLLA,” she noted.

In related news, in her last blog, Lourdes noted that her mom planned to let her dye her hair when she turned 14, and in the new post, the teen explained what color she plans to go.

“A lot of you asked me what color I was dying my hair and it’s actually going to be like a kind of cherry blackish thingy bobbie,” she wrote.
