Gore’s Girl Pens Sexy Screenplay For Biel, Gyllenhaal
Al Gore’s daughter, author Kristin Gore, is penning a screenplay that is expected to bring together two of Hollywood’s hottest young actors on the big screen.
Though they haven’t officially signed contracts, Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal are said to be attached to the quirky, sexually-charged political comedy “Nailed,” which Gore is penning with David O’Russell. O’Russell will also direct the feature, according to the Hollywood Reporter who first reported the news.
Biel is expected to play Sammy Joyce, an eccentric receptionist who is met with “bizarre sexual urges,” according to the Hollywood Reporter, after a nail is accidentally shot into her head.
While fighting for the rights of the uninsured in Washington, Biel’s Sammy Joyce comes across Gyllenhaal’s as yet unnamed character, a politico with loose morals.
Gyllenhaal’s character is expected to take advantage of Sammy Joyce’s urges and her foray into politics.
Reps for the actors did not comment to the Hollywood Reporter.
Biel will next appear on the big screen in the drama “Powder Blue,” opposite Patrick Swayze, Ray Liotta and Forest Whitaker.
Gyllenhaal is currently starring in theatres in the film “Rendition,” alongside Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep.
