The country superstar shared a cute post-workout shot on Friday, and gave fans insight into how she stays in peak performance shape.

“Cloudy but no rain = perfect day to run outside!” the singer captioned her Instagram snap. “1mi treadmill warm up, tabata arms and abs, finish up with a 3 mile run/lunge up the hills.”

Carrie and her husband, NHL player Mike Fisher, are new parents to 5-month-old son Isaiah, but another family member was on hand to help the seven-time Grammy winner cool off.

“I’m a sweaty mess, but fortunately I have sweet Penny to help get me cleaned up! Ew,” she joked of her and Mike’s dachshund mix, who snuck into the shot.

The 32-year-old has plenty to prepare for.

After kicking off a U.S. tour on Aug. 17, Carrie will once again command co-hosting duties at the CMA Awards alongside Brad Paisley in November. The duo has emceed the event every year since 2008.
