Sarah Palin & ‘Survivor’s’ Mark Burnett Reportedly Shop TV Docudrama
Sarah Palin already has a TV gig as a Fox News Channel commentator and now the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate is reportedly shopping around a TV docudrama with “Survivor” creator Mark Burnett.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Palin and Burnett are pitching a project about Palin’s home state of Alaska, that one source called a “planet-Earth type look” at the great northern state.
The duo has reportedly meet with executives at ABC and CBS on Wednesday and will reportedly meet with NBC Universal on Thursday.
Palin has had a busy Hollywood week. On Monday, she appeared on “The Tonight Show” and on Tuesday stopped by Silver Spoon’s Oscar Suite in West Hollywood, Calif., where one vendor told EW that Palin and her entourage “were like locusts.”
“She showed up with like 20 people,” the vendor at the gift suite claimed. “And they immediately swarmed the place taking everything!”
But a rep for Silver Spoon told Access Hollywood on Thursday that Palin was not “a locust.”
“Sarah Palin gave a sizable contribution and was a delight. Silver Spoon was very grateful she brought awareness to our Red Cross relief effort, we were happy to supply her and her family with some of our sponsor product,” the rep said in a statement to Access.
