You’re going to need it!!!

9009 Sunset Boulevard, West Hollywood (310) 278-9457

Other than the clever name, Jack Osbourne (yes, THAT Jack Osbourne) and his partner, Danielle Foyer, really know how to throw a party. Each Monday night the duo take this small room above the Roxy and turn it into a public “house party” when they fill it with karaoke singing, go-go dancers and live music.

1642 Las Palmas Avenue, Hollywood (323) 460-4632

If you have friends in town dying to see a celebrity than you want to bring them to this exclusive celeb watering hole…I mean dance club. Don’t worry, even if you aren’t on the list at James Sinclair’s club you won’t get the doorman attitude. However, if you do manage to wrangle an invite past the velvet rope you will be treated like an A-list celeb whether you’re Paris Hilton or just her look-a-like.

1651 Wilcox Avenue, Hollywood (323) 465-7500

The minute Holly’s opened her doors, a star was born!!! With Teddy’s gone, Holly’s takes over as being the tiniest club in Hollywood that can pack a punch. Co-owner Rick Calamaro fills the room of this Moulin Rouge themed space with nothing but the A-list, making use of every square inch, and yet no one complains. Why? Well, if you are one of the lucky few to make it past the velvet rope, you’re either too busy scooping out the neverending eyecandy or trying to get an audition from the uber agent standing next to you to care. Like Teddy’s, no cameras are allowed and the only way in is if you know someone!!!6525 Sunset Boulevard(323) 462-5222

LA is known for it’s makeovers, so whether it’s a person or a place, we set the bar for being able to make something old, new and cool again. As long as you have the right “people” of course. Famed restaurateur Jeffery Chodorow is one of those “people,” who has the Midas touch when it comes to creating hip eateries. He has masterfully taken the 27,000-square-foot space, which formerly housed the famed Hollywood Athletic Club or as it was often referred to “the playground to the stars”, and given it a technological overhaul. Two years in the making, Social Hollywood has set a new standard for “playing.” Whether you choose to eat in the 4,900-square-foot Moroccan Room downstairs or sip a martini in the Red room, a stop inside the Green Room is a must…that’s if you can wrangle an invite that is. Equipped with XBOX and PlayStation consoles, a 32-seat screening room, a pool table and a private dining room, you quickly see why this members-only room gives VIP a whole new meaning.

1835 N. Cahuenga Boulevard, Hollywood(323) 465-4400

Another new player quickly making a name for itself is SHAG. The name may be new but the locale isn’t. SHAG took over where Concorde left off and has kept the intimate vibe but made it cooler with its’ crystal chandeliers, red velvet curtains and zebra-print pillows. The small dance floor makes it easy to “accidentally” bump into Nick Lachey or his best buddy these days Matt Leinart and get your groove thing on. If dancing isn’t your thing, you can get lost in one of the comfy couches in either of the two outdoor smoking lounges and make new friends or catch up with old ones.

3400 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas(702) 792-7900

After a week of partying in LA, you need a break from the usual crowd. So, jump on the first Southwest Airlines flight out of the Burbank Airport (two words: NO LINES) and head out to the (702). Once in Sin City, do not pass go or collect $200, just head straight to the Mirage Hotel. Aside from Siegfried & Roy’s Royal White Tigers, the entertainment choices are top notch. Start your night off by going to STACK for dinner, where you might just bump into Kevin Connelly and his real life entourage. Then make sure to stop by one of the three dance floors at JET where the party keeps going till 4 in the morning!!! The late night curfew and four bars was probably one of the reasons Lukas Haas recently chose to have his birthday party there. .

12655 Ventura Boulevard, Studio City(818) 766-8311

After your weekend rendezvous to Vegas, head over to Guy’s North and get refreshed. You’re already on this side of the hill, so why not make the most of it? This sister location to the original Guy’s in West Hollywood is also attached to a Jerry’s Deli. So you have a place to cure those late night munchies. But unlike the West Hollywood location, Guy’s North is equipped with pool tables, private rooms and several flat screen TVs that play the East Coast feed of your favorite TV shows. If that’s not enough, you can always bowl a frame or two before going home.
