Prince Charles Pays His Respects To President George H.W. Bush 

Prince Charles attended President George H.W. Bush’s funeral at Washington National Chapel on Wednesday in Washington D.C.

The British royal, 70, was seen visiting with Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, inside the ceremony. This is the first time Prince Charles has visited the United States in more than three years. He was last seen in the United States in March 2015 when he and Camilla visited Louisville, Kentucky, and Washington D.C., in 2015.

Clarence House previously announced that Prince Charles would attend the funeral services. Camilla did not attend the services, but instead stayed behind in Britain and attended an evening reception for members of the Diplomatic Corps  at Buckingham Palace.

Prince Charles as among many state and foreign officials who attended President George H.W. Bush’s funeral. All of the living U.S. Presidents, President Trump, President Obama, President Clinton and President Carter was also in attendance.
