Chris Soules’ Emotional ‘Dancing’ Exit: ‘I Wasn’t Ready’

Chris Soules and Witney Carson were eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday night, and the former “Bachelor” is taking it hard.

Prince Farming seemed to be choked up when “DWTS” host Tom Bergeron asked how he was feeling after getting the boot, and Access Hollywood checked in with the reality star after the show, where he told us he’s having a hard time hanging up his dancing shoes.

“I was invested, so it’s hard,” Chris told Access after the show. “This is a tough one.”

In addition to Chris and Witney, Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec were also sent home, and Chris admitted he hadn’t prepared himself for the possibility of leaving quite yet.

“[It’s] a tough pill to swallow. I wasn’t ready,” he said.

The one good thing about Chris’ dismissal? He’ll be free to spend more time with his fiancee, Whitney Bischoff.

“This took everything I had to be here. To get as far as I did took every ounce of my mind and body,” he said. “I really wasn’t able to give her what she deserved as well. It will be nice to get back to focusing on [our] relationship.”
