“This is a very different experience to my last Grammys. I was walking down this exact street and no one knew who I was,” he told Access Hollywood‘s Shaun Robinson. “So, it’s a very, very different situation. I still don’t necessarily feel man of the hour, I’m still very overwhelmed by everyone, you know. I’m walking passed like Madonna and Rihanna and it’s just amazing.”
Sam also told Shaun about a “magical” encounter he had with Stevie Wonder while getting ready for the awards show.

“I just had the most amazing experience. My changing room’s next to Stevie Wonder’s and I’ve met him before, but he asked to see me and I walked into the dressing room and he started playing ‘I’m Not the Only One,’ my song and started singing it to me,” Sam recalled. “It’s just the most magical thing that’s ever happened. It was amazing.”
